2009 foals

Wow talk about a exciting year, so many shapes, sizes and colors. Sadly not all by The Black

First of the year "Robin" , named cause I was at the Robin Williams show and she dropped just before I got home. Of course I had been up all night for 4 nights watching her. Her Dam is a beautiful Arab cross (we think) and has given Robin a beautiful look to her, she has a kind mind like her daddy, and a small star like her daddy. Very athletic. She is for sale at $500 if purchased before weaning, A good chance to get a granddaughter of Peponita and endurance of the Arabs, with a steady gentle mind of the Quarter horse. SOLD TO THE BOBBY RIDDLE FAMILY

                   7 wks

This one is not Blacks, but still special to us. Mom is my draft cross mare, Pearl, sire is Catcha Dreams Fury, a spotted draft we are standing for stud until sold. He is Black/white. This BIG girl takes after him, she's tall, very tall, got bone and a very sweet personality, as does both parents. We call her "Dream" . It may not show in the picture, but one eye is blue. you can see by the pictures at one day old, she's BIG...Buckskin too.    FOR SALE $2800

Sold to Van & laurie Anderson

And our first Registered Foal, This is from our Valentine N Gold Mare, born early 27th March. And like last years beautiful baby, a Buckskin colt . With Robin being our first baby by Black its been suggested we stick to a bird theme, so Meet "Wren".  of course he has a nice pedigree and true to form Val throws a wonderful head. This first pic was taken when he was only 5 hrs old.

Sold to Elizabeth and Larry Binford...who have broken him in to everything, this colt will pony from another horse and do the trails, he will play cutting horse with the great dane as his cow. He's gotta be a fantastic show horse.

they have now decided to sell him, he will be ready even for children to work.$2000

Now the really exciting one, Our good friends Jeremy and Kricket Bosley  had Just what Kricket had been hoping and wishing for. A wonderful Grulla colt. Black has thrown at least one before, and funny enough it was also on April Fools Day, so it really seems to be a good day for his babies. Meet " Sterling"  His dam is Sip of Anne, a lineback dun.    BIG CONGRATS TO KRICKET AND JEREMY!!! and notice he has his daddies little star!!!

And another baby born, To Russell Stamper's mare Lady, he got a sweet little girl,

OH so many babies so little time!!!  I bought a foal of Black and Tardys Southern Rose that was very poor in flesh and also pregnant, shes well bred and good looking, someone who shouldn't be owning horses ended up with her and let her get poor, with baby due any day. Well she's come to live her only 3 wks and she's gain 100 lbs and foaled a good foal, we got the shots she needed, wormed MOM and got the good food into her so she could let the baby grow to normal for birthing, "Pepsi" as she is called gained 6 in. in her girth in that short of a time. Any way the is Miss Peppy Leos King and her newborn "Snow Bird" with Blue eyes, Both are for sale, separately or together, just call and we can discuss it..... so here are Pepsi and Snow Bird...

Snow is Sold to Heather Wilson

Moving right along, its May 6th and Dove was born this morning. She is the last Mini to be born this year and we have been waiting for a month for her, she was due with Reiny's, which was 1 month ago today.. She's adorable as are all Mini babies... And Shes Sold To Linda Wilson who lost her own mini baby this year to bad tummy virus.

Sold to Matt Anderson

Tardys Southern Rose foaled a little early, she came to us for the foaling, a nice filly and a buckskin, The owners are calling her Jesse ....she is for sale, update on the for sale page.

And Last but certainly not least, Lonesome finally foaled, and what a surprise, lots of color, beautiful head, hip and leg, and a line back dun!!!! WE are so excited about this color, he looks dark in this photo but once dried out its a definite dorsal stripe...he's a doll, very pleased with him...very, we are calling him Hawk..

Sold to Shelly Stamper , congrats
